Representasi Kolektif dalam Doa Apokaliptik

Abstract: Kinds of literature on apocalyptic prayer are difficult to understand in the study of apocalyptic literature. This text is often regarded as an interruption when paying attention to the content, theology, style of language, and continuity with other passages in the apocalyptic books. But those texts can answer Christian leadership problems, which sometimes don't care about the crisis being faced by the people. This study focuses on using the first-person plural pronoun, which indicates the collective representation concept in apocalyptic prayers. The legendary figures who said this apocalyptic prayer have high solidarity towards their nation's struggles and the depth to bear the crisis they are facing jointly. The methodology used in this research compares apocalyptic prayers in the book of Daniel, 2 Baruch, and 4 Esdras. Therefore, the concept of corporate representative can be a reference for Christian leadership to bear the crisis of the people jointly.
Abstrak: Teks doa apokaliptik adalah teks yang sulit dipahami dalam studi sastra apokaliptik. Teks ini sering dianggap sebagai interupsi ketika memperhatikan isi, teologi, gaya bahasa, dan kesinambungan dengan bagian-bagian lain dalam kitab apokaliptik. Tetapi teks tersebut juga mampu menjawab permasalahan kepemimpinan Kristen yang terkadang acuh dengan krisis yang sedang dihadapi oleh umat. Studi ini memperhatikan sisi penggunaan kata ganti orang pertama plural yang mengindikasikan adanya unsur representasi kolektif di dalam doa apokaliptik ini. Tokoh-tokoh legendaris yang mengucapkan doa apokaliptik ini tidak hanya memiliki solidaritas yang tinggi terhadap perjuangan yang dihadapi bangsanya, tetapi juga memiliki kedalaman untuk bersama-sama menanggung krisis yang sedang mereka hadapi. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan membandingkan teks doa apokaliptik dalam kitab Daniel, 2 Barukh, serta 4 Ezra. Dengan demikian, representasi kolektif ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi kepemimpinan Kristen dalam menanggung krisis bersama-sama dengan umat.
