Dinamika Kepemimpinan Kristen: Refleksi atas Integritas, Moralitas, dan Konsep Dosa dalam Konteks Roma 7:14

This paper explores the dynamics of Christian leadership and its reflection on integrity, morality, and the concept of sin in Romans 7:14. Leadership is a crucial aspect in the modern church context. Noble characteristics such as integrity and morality are essential for Christian leaders to achieve effective leadership. Romans 7:14, on the one hand, emphasizes the nature of sin and the condition of humanity being sold under sin's power. Christian leaders, as humans, also experience the condition of being sold under the power of sin. This presents challenges in the practice of Christian leadership. Sin erodes the values of integrity and morality within Christian leaders, affecting their leadership processes. Decision-making can become problematic and lack proper ethical values. Christian leaders must rely entirely on the Holy Spirit to overcome the reality of being sold under the power of sin. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, it can be concluded that the dynamics of Christian leadership and its reflection on integrity, morality, and the concept of sin in the context of Romans 7:14 lead Christian leaders to depend entirely on the Holy Spirit in their leadership practices.
Abstrak
Tulisan ini didesain untuk menelusuri dinamika kepemimpinan Kristen dan refleksinya atas integritas, moralitas dan konsep dosa dalam konteks Roma 7:14. Kepemimpinan merupakan hal yang krusial di dalam konteks gereja modern. Karakteristik luhur seperti integritas dan moralitas perlu dimiliki oleh pemimpin Kristen demi mencapai kepemimpinan yang efektif. Di satu sisi, Roma 7:14 menggarisbawahi sifat dosa dan kondisi manusia yang terjual di bawah kuasa dosa. Pemimpin Kristen merupakan manusia yang juga mengalami kondisi keterjualan di bawah kuasa dosa. Hal tersebut mendatangkan permasalahan di dalam praktik kepemimpinan Kristen. Dosa mengikis nilai integritas dan moralitas di dalam diri pemimpin Kristen yang berdampak pada proses kepemimpinannya. Pengambilan keputusanpun akan bermasalah serta tidak mengandung nilai etis yang benar. Pemimpin Kristen perlu bergantung penuh pada Roh Kudus untuk dapat melampaui realitas keterjualan di bawah kuasa dosa. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dinamika kepemimpinan Kristen dan refleksinya atas integritas, moralitas dan konsep dosa dalam konteks Roma 7:14 akan membawa pemimpin Kristen untuk bergantung penuh kepada Roh Kudus dalam praktik kepemimpinannya.
