The apostle Paul, who became the apostle to the Gentiles, always made the synagogue the initial stepping stone to preach the gospel, including in Ephesus. Interestingly, Paul continued his ministry in Ephesus and considered it an incredible opportunity despite his many challenges. Using a descriptive qualitative research method with a literature study approach, it can be concluded that the understanding and definition of disciples must be a foothold to continue serving God in the discipleship mission. Furthermore, using the place as a means of evangelization in the Synagogue, the Apostle Paul's way of approaching the community aims to focus on smaller groups so that the church can train and produce leaders to face the challenges of discipleship in urban areas.
